RockBridge Productions Bio Video



We are constantly trying to get new clients to purchase bio videos to better show what their company is about, and I realized we didn't even have one for our own company. I thought that was silly, so I figured it would be a good idea to put one together. I constructed this edit, showcasing what we are all about, and to give our future clients a better understanding of why we got into video production. I am posting it here to get feedback on the piece (style, flow, editing, cinematography, etc.) as I just finished this cut earlier today, and would love to hear any and all feedback.

It's good overall. Good pacing, shot selection and so forth, but I do have a few issues. First, those slider shots get old really fast in this one. The first one was interesting, the second was okay, the third one was boring. It could also be much, much quicker; it's good to give people an idea of who you are and why they should hire you to make this same kind of video, but the general public- even the ones looking for someone to hire- don't care enough to see more than a minute of it when they don't already know you. That's my biggest issue. You also seem to do something weird with the audio, which instead of sounding stylized sounds muddy to me.

I actually think the best part comes after the interviews, where you cut to the various footage you've shot. While some of it is too fast to get a strong idea of what it is, the transitions and way the shots flow together really appeals to me.
