Hi all,
I started a thread a while back looking for a Nikon-Canon adapter that could handle the weight of a heavy zoom (mine being a Tokina 28-70 2.8 ATX Pro).
I had been using the cheap ones from Ebay but they could not handle the weight and the lens would move all over the place when focusing and zooming and it was also tipping forward on the mount.
Loren form Redrock Micro jumped in and suggested their adapter, it is locked in with little screws that you tighten down with, the included, allen key.
I have been using the adapter for a few weeks now and it is great!
There is no play at all in lens and after heaps of lens changes it is still super solid with no play whatsoever, build quality is also excellent.
So yeah, just wanted to say that this adpater kicks ass over those cheap Ebay numbers.
Some pics are attached.
Yew!
