I think what Brian meant to say is that if you ask a question like this, here on this forum, what do you want someone to do? You want somebody to find something out for you...? Why not check the Redrock website first? Perhaps take a look on their forum.

Better you tie your own shoes.

I wrote and asked RedRock that same question several weeks ago and received a terse form letter reply - this after spending thousands of dollars on their products..

Then I discovered the Cineroid - it is a little more expensive, but probably better (large screen is wonderful) and it EXISTS...

Don't punish yourself, grab a Cineroid. You WILL love it!!!! Based on the design of the Redrock finder, it seems like the 'Roid has a bunch more features and is at least twice as useful.

Though the Redrock is the prettiest of the bunch...

It's coming down to Cineroid vs. SmallHD for my next monitoring purchase.

Cineroid is both, the loupe flips up and the screen is big enough that it's usable that way.. It has some minor software issues, and unfortunately the composite in is squeezed 4x3, making it nearly unusable with a non-HDMI camera (I had hoped to also use it with my 200) but otherwise well worth the money.

"When pigs fly" was more of a dig on a company that doesn't have a good track record of releasing gear when they say they will, but if some new guy wants to take offense to it and feel I was making fun of him in some way so be it.

It's getting tempting. It's coming down to Cineroid vs. SmallHD for my next monitoring purchase.

I just received my SmallHD and I love it so far.

I have done it 2 times-contacted them privately-no luck.
I thought "SENIORS" on this forum had more contacts inside that company-i was wrong.

RE: Pigs Fly...

More than 20 years ago world famous commercial director Jim Phelan made pigs fly for a bank commercial. So I guess that means that we could have gotten the EVF 20 years ago!
