Hey, I've been trying to find out if I should have my sequence scan settings for my 23.98 footage (shot on dvx100b) on progressive or interlaced. I've searched this site and found nothing definitive, I researched my manuals and nothing there. I've posted here and nobody answers. What gives? Please somebody with the knowledge--help!
Is my question too advanced or too stupid to be answered here?

What version of FCP are you using? There is an easy set up option in 5.0 + that you can use (did you shoot 24p or 24pA?) but the quick answer is progressive.
EDIT: Just saw your first post. Just leave that setting be (interlaced). When you set up FCP using the easy setup for DVCPro/DV at 23.98 and DV-NTSC 24p (23.98) Advanced Pulldown Removal, the setting is already on interlaced and there is no reason for you to change it.
