On the Red website it lists :

REDCODE codec: Variable Bit Rate, Wavelet
RAW
10 bit 4:2:2 1080p / 1080i / 720p
10 bit log 4:4:4 2K

From their workflow page it looks like you can shoot 4k with Redcode, but it's not explicitly stated on their specs unless I'm missing something. Maybe it's just an oversight.

I just sent in my reservation for the camera. It's amazing how $1000 makes you scour over the tech specs.

The specs page has never been updated with the post-IBC info. It's a little silly at this point, but, well, I guess they're working on more important stuff.
 
The RED camera is still in development, so specs might change, that's why their web site is not update. I think, the specs on the web site is to make you an idea where there are going, but do not take them as locked down. It should be by the end of this year.... we just have to wait, but the RED team is kind enough to chat with us and let us know the recent dev of the camera and its workflow. But still, it is not really official, I guess.
