with the due respect comprehending a lot of people there, it's not my viewpoint and from others either.. there are interests outside.. do you know what i've spoken with a lot of dps? they are frightened.. there isn't place to all.. or for their high price.. i give you an example: my last movie was super16mm shot.. my next, because there isn't red, i will have a F900.. my dp? myself.. i was testing and i don't need who was budgeted.. my saving? just including dp? (excluding other savings) $2,500 per week!

can you follow their problem? please, don't say there isn't a fight.. of course there is.. maybe to who is working with video or HD, this is a different story.. but not to the older ones..

RED screen saver

I have a small request for Jim. Jim said he was going to post samples of images from RED. Most people want to see 4K screen grabs of the footage used for IBC. That sounds great. But when you are done with that could you shoot some images that I could use as a screen saver for my Apple Cine display. I have a 23". I guess you should make some for a 30" 17" 20" and 24" too. I don't really want a screen saver of people smoking. Could you shoot some more images of your 959? That would make an awesome screen saver. Maybe put the RED logo in the corner of the photo or something. If all that is too much work, I can just drop the 4k photo files in my Apple screen saver and set it to zoom. I have a screen saver I got from AXE deodorant that is cool, but I am getting tired of it. If you made a RED screensaver I know everyone from DVXuser would put it on their computer screen.
 
i doubt they'll shoot new material- probably already shot most of what they need. your request is kind of silly. no offense.

I'm sure the galleries would be filled with images that you can use to create your screensaver.
 
@achrochordon - dude, the "crop" function is your friend. Would take ~2 min in Preview to make a 4k still a wallpaper for a 23 in cinema display.

Boy, Barry sure had this internet instant-gratification culture pegged.

you or from other mods? i believe not.. again, pardon my rant.. as i said someone anonymously mentioned my participation here, it was quite strange.. twilight zone.. anyway, thx for your post..
