Red Shots with 300 mm lense

I will be shooting- almost exclusively feature films. I'm shying away from the 300 as I believe will have very limited use. I recall some mention of a close up 10 feet away that looked great.

My questions:

Where any of the shots done with the 300mm, or are any coming out soon with that?

I contemplating for two shots where I want to have both people squezzed in the view with an asthetically pleasing shot- does this seem feasible?

I've researved the other two items available- but have been struggling with this one. Thanks in advance

For a feature I think you'll better just buy the RED Zoom and not the Telephoto Prime. You already said it: the RED 300 mm has limited use for a film maker.
But the zoom could be great, you have 18mm-85mm.

For the work you describe Valoo, I would tend to agree with Sidderke. If you can only afford one of the RED lenses, and you have no need of long focal length, real shallow DOF shots, the 18-85mm zoom should be your choice. I've reserved both, because the range of genres of production I do determines that both will be used regularly. I'll use the 18-85 zoom in multiple genres of production. I'll use the 300mm lens widely for my stock footage, nature, certain documentaries, sports, and any shot that calls for long focal length/shallow DOF.

I'll pipe in here too, for narrative projects, a 300mm is not going to see a lot of use. The focal lengths that I use most of the time fall into the 40 - 100 range.
