Red Rock Canon Live Lens Mount real world test

Congrats on being the first to market, a big feat in itself. While I use Nikon and Zeiss Glass so i can stay away from Canon stuff I suspect many AF-100 users will be extremely happy.

Loren: Good news! What is the connector type that supplies power to the adaptor from the 9v battery?

Hey guys,

Just a heads up, the LiveLens MFT is shipping today!

Just saw this thread and read every post but didn't see the answer....... does this come in a sony Emount? If not, can this be used with an adapter from the AF mount to a sony emount? (Since the device doesn't seem to be getting/giving any info to the camera????)

@videohog - LiveLens MFT is specifically for the micro four-thirds mount. We haven't announced anything regarding an E mount version. We have a customer who has built his own custom E mount version from the LiveLens mount (from our M3 dof adapter), so it's possible, but that would be a better starting point than using the MFT version, imho

What does the other end of the cable look like? Just a dangling 9V or is there an enclosure? What's the length of the power cable?

The other end of the cable is a 9v battery enclosed in a shell with an on/off switch. It's got a nice surface to attach velcro or any other adhesive to so you can easily mount it anywhere.

Here's an example of a runningMan rig with the LiveLens MFT - you can see the cable and battery compartment placed on the chest pad.
