RED Lense + Redrockmicro M2 and lens Q's

Though not particularly RED-related, nor non-RED-related, I was just wondering since the RED lens is going to be PL-mount, will any current M2 users consider taking advantage of the RED Lens?

Also, a side question about still lenses in general, does it make a difference to go for an Auto-Focus lens over a Manual Lens for 35mm adapters and the RED? As it seems you could save a bit just buying an AF model instead of paying the extra for a manual version. I'm sure it'd make a huge difference for DSLR's but what about video?
