Well, it is in spanish, I am sorry. Ovide is an important rent place in Spain. They have always the newest tecnology... and more expensive than the others. They say that they have buying the two first RED in Spain. The maker give them an estimate date: March of 2007.

So it is possible RED in Europe.

I love to have the third RED in Spain... but for me it is a little early... economically... maybe in a year :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

I'm not sure if this Ovide offer will be the first presence of the RED at Spain. Ours, it will be also to rent into the southern european markets, at least. UK and Ireland, following the requests. And general speaking, all over the Europe. If it will be the first RED to rent in Europe, I dunno...however, it will be the first ever serial number 0000111, for sure.

EDIT -- BTW, our idea will be to have all the accessories, lenses and recording systems as available as possible.

You are completely right, dalen. :) And I can tell you...even today I was speaking with my partners about the subject... :D

[EDIT]

But one thing it's also possible to add...the europeans must think as easy as the US citizens are thinking since a long time ago: it isn't some couple of hours far away from our home airport that can avoid profit business among us -- based or not only in Europe, as well. Neither the cultural or language diversity between europeans. A strength and not necessarily a weakness. As it has been a usual place, historically speaking.

Otherwise, my good fellow. The old continent is the most large market -- as the recent common currency success has been to prove to all euro skeptics. The european money increased more than 25% comparing to dollar (30% if compared with many former national currencies). And I can confess that maybe it would be impossible to think RED in Europe now without that policy.
