IMO panavision will be renting modified pana-reds down the road ..so guessing they'll send out a tech if needed ... most rental houses will have a tech helping you when you check out the camera when you pick it up .. many productions hire a tech person as part of camera team ( you pay ) ...

not sure what you mean ... but back ( 4-5 years) when it was annonced ( working prototype) they were waiting for the sensor ... X years later - they are still waiting for the sensor !!! i believe the sensor they were orginally waiting for did finally come out and that sensor is the one that the SI camera is using ... last i heard Kinetta camera decided to move up to a larger ( more pixels) sensor which ??? they're waiting for the sensor ...

... thats interesting, maybe they should change name from Kinetta to like "bah, will wait for 10k" :smile:
