Red 5" Touch LCD

But, is there any possible way to get the Red 5" Touch LCD to work with a DSLR?

Sure you can! But it involves a complicated and heavy rig consisting of a Scarlet or EPIC with a macro lens focussed on the existing screen of the DSLR. It's not a very good solution...
