Recording to my PC laptop

I'm getting ready now to shoot my commercial utilizing slow-mo 720N/480N setting and will have to connect to my PC.

Will I need a capture program to capture the image from my HVX200a or will the camera deposit a file openable by Final Cut Pro onto my hard disk as it records? I will transfer from my laptop to a Mac Pro Tower.

If I need a capture program, what would everyone suggest?
 
1. The camera will not feed out anything pN through firewire.

2. You can capture other settings via FW to a MacBook Pro using onLocation, Scopebox, HD Monitor and I believe VeeScope.

3. You need the DVCProHD codecs on that machine.
 
Don't forget, if you are shooting and the computer crashes, you lose everything. Computers always crash or freeze and you will pay the price.
