I am recording a sport event, ice skating but I am not entirely sure what record setting I should use, 1080/50i or 1080/25p.

It will be a multicam recording with 4 camera's, 2 x 130 & 2 x 160.

Thank you for the help!

Your best bet, based on a comparison, probably is 1080/60i.

I do hockey events in PS mode at 1080/60p, but that requires a 160A (no use to you when you have to use a mix of 160/130 cameras).

Don't you feel you might get blurring at 25p?

The key issue with fast moving targets is to keep focus. I have not had much success with auto-focus in the area of fast moving targets because of the long settle-in time.

I suppose with four cameras, you can have a setup that does not require extensive zoom in/zoom out so you may be OK.
