Confirming that I just did a test with the BlackMagic Video Assist 5" and a brilliant Mini Converter SDI Multiplex 4K by Blackmagic... much cheaper than the AJA version and I am getting 50p 422 into the VA. Quite the power package and all very light. Trying to see how I can jimmy this into an IF BOX, or inside the camera. I never use Gen Lock or Test out of the camera... so maybe I can replace those with the BlackMagic Multiplex outs... Now to test 50p.
