Record Out Of FCP to Cam 720PN

I've been reviewing the manual and am not clear on this.

Can I record back through firewire to the cam out of a 720pn timeline in FCP using firewire to a p2 card?

We want to do some edits in FCP and show this is on plasma display.

You can "print to tape" out the firewire port. It will conform the video to 720/60P with pulldown, and you can "crash record" that. I haven't found a way for FCP to record the card as if it were a deck (issuing start/stop commands etc) but you can manually start & stop record.
