Recommended SDHC card for HMC150

I'm just wondering what is most popoular/affordable SDHC card for HMC 150 users. 32Gb or multiple 16Gb cards?

Panasonic class 6 cards seems to be pricey at this point, but is it the best card for the camera & is it worth the money?

I haven't had the camera long, but so far I've not had any problem wit the 16GB Transcend Class 6 cards. They give me over 90 minutes at highest setting. Very reasonably priced.

I think that 16 gigs or lower are the best way to go if you're not some type of long event shooter or if you don't have a need for long uninterrupted shooting.

I tend to use SanDisk cards a lot and I have not had any troubles.
Panasonic cards are rather up there in the price range but I don't know if I'd say they are the best for this camera.
I mean you can pay less for an SD card and it can be just as good - class 4 or class 6 - the images are the same on either class.

I have one Panasonic 16gig and six Transcend 16 gig cards all Class 6. The Transcend work well and they are $60.00 Cdn. I am reluctant to go to 32 gig cards because I not comfortable with the idea of having that much footage on only one source should it fail. If I had to shoot a long event I guess, failing a point where I could change cards use a 32.
I also have a NEXTO eXtreme backup unit .....which is brand new and like many folks who bought them does not work. I am send ing it back so be careful on this front, seems quality control is an issue with this company.

I've shot over 80 Kingston 8 gig cards with no problems. I don't reuse the cards because they become my archive. I shot with the cheaper Adata cards and twice the 150 stopped recording for no apparent reason. The footage was good but I decided to not use Adata anymore.

I have used 16GB class 6 Transcends and a Delkin Devices class 6 16GB card with no issues. I wouldn't even try to use class 4, even though Panny says they're ok. Amazon has the 16GB Transcends for less than $40.

as said already, transcend works amazingly and they're some of the cheapest cards there are, i have 2 8gb and a 16gb

I have three transcend 16gb Class 6 cards along side my panny 16gb Class 6 and none of them have yet to give me any trouble.

I use the Panasonic 16 GB only and plan to buy a 32 GB Panasonic.

Transcend are ok but there is reports of faulty Transcend cards, dead on arrival, etc. But it may be 10% of the comments. And I know someone using one without any problem.

Dito that and I also have a panny 16 - no difference between the 3. All class 6 - I wouldn't go class 4.

I have a Transcend 32gb class 4 and have never had a problem recording in PH mode. I of course use my class 6's most of the time, but every once in a while I'll pop in the class 4 32gb for kicks. Works just fine.

I just bought myself an SDHC card Kingston from ebay (unopened) for my HMC 15x and have problems formatting the card using the camera. My panasonic digital camera and HMC can't read the card when I insert it (Card error please check card) and therefore I can't FORMAT it. I actually bought 2 pieces and I don't think the cards are faulty. My cam software has been updated. to 1.9. Not the latest but good enough for me since I have no intention for a Class 10.

I tried formatting it with my mac and PC using Panasonic Format software ... This works... the pc an mac sees the card..I can even drop data on it from the computer. ..but when I tried putting it into the camera, it still wouldn't format the card. Under system info from the HMC, it gives the correct info about the card Class 6 0%usage. I can transfer files through my PC and mac into the card but the camera just won't shoot with it. What gives?

Hmm...anyone have the same problem?
