I was about to get this one, but wasn't sure if (A) It works with my Nikkor Lenses & (B) It wasn't a piece of crap.

Fire away gents.

Can anyone eyeball what Mr. Bloom was using here? Pretty tough.

That's it, David. Got mine from Stephen at CameraQuest and couldn't be happier.

Actually, I could be happier. I could have the AF-100 right now with the adapter "wearing" my sweet Zeiss ZF lenses. :D

I have these two lens that we used with our D300s:

Nikkor AF-S Zoom 17-55 mm f/2.8G IF ED

Nikkor AF-S VR 70-200mm F/2.8G IF ED

Are they compatible with either adapter when and with the AF-100?

Just trying to clarify.

we should sticky adapters and all kinds of adapter talk.

i got the voightlander after barry commented on his. through research it is the best for the money. do not go cheap on the adapter, once your lens shifts on a focus pull and your shot is gone, that extra money will be wished spent. the voightlander is strong, well made, secure and it stays on the camera (has a lens lever to twist of the nikon lens). second for stephen at cameraquest.com fast service and seems to be in stock. the noveflex seems too expensive when comparing the voightlander, same basic build. plus i dont need the aperture in the adapter and feel it would just get in the way. as for the lenses, as long as you can control the aperture manually on the lens, any adapter will technically work, how well depends on the adapter. if no aperture ring, the novaflex is the only fix for that (though your F stop values are guessed).

i remember searching for the adapter bloom used, it was around 50 bucks. seemed ok but i like my voightlander one. its in the comments back on his page when he first received the af101 if anyone dares to search.

not familiar with the G nikon lenses. i believe they do not have the aperture ring correct? if not, the only way to stop down would be the noveflex adapter, still with no connection to the camera so f stop is a guess. this is the only alternative i am aware of for those lenses.
