The Marshall is a great monitor. It of course displays the image in full HD before recording in which you can block your shots and mark focus. When I used to t2i with my marshall i liked the fact that i could dedicate a button to change the aspect ratio so that once i started recording it would take less than a second to at least get the aspect ratio right. As per resolution, pretty much all the monitors will display the same lack of it.
