After lots of research, I think I'm going to get the Canon 20-300 f4 I.S. with the 2X teleconverter.
Can you guys recommend a 3rd party Tripod Collar since the camera will be pretty unbalanced with the lens and the teleconverter? There's a million of them on E-Bay and they're WAY Cheaper ($100 less or more) then the Canon brand, ranging from $6 to $30.

Note: I know you lose 2 stops of light with the Teleconverter, but I figure if I just bump up the ISO by 100 I'll regain the stop if I need it. I'm using it to film surfing which is daytime, so shooting at f8 should be fine.
