Yes, I received mine about 8 weeks from sending all my paperwork in and it said to allow 8-10 weeks, so that wasn't too bad. FYI - when it arrives, it does NOT come in an envelope addressed from Panasonic - instead it says something like "The Advertising Checking Bureau, Inc." so it's possible to toss it as junk mail!

I bought our camera in July of this year and I want to say we didn't get the check until sometime in November. I had to wait several weeks for the registration process to be complete so it held up my submission until sometime in August. As you can see though it still took several months.
Patience is a key when it comes to rebates... be they a check, a battery, or anything else. However long you think it will take, expect it to be at lease twice that.
If you're concerned about the rebate -- which is fair, because sometimes things happen -- there is a phone number on the rebate form that you can call. Rebates are through a completely different department than equipment sales. They can search the status of your rebate by the serial number. It doesn't hurt to call, and if there is something that needs addressed, it is much easier to deal with sooner than later.
In case there is an issue, you can usually resolve it with the rebate department then and there (ie: they never received the forms, typos, database errors). Otherwise, you would want to contact your dealer and ask them to take it to their Panasonic sales rep. They should be able get your dealer in touch with the right person to make sure you're taken care of.
