Rebate Card

Disclaimer: The HVX has lived up to all expectations and gone beyond. I love the cam and after 3 months I'm still just discovering all the things it can do.

But this rebate thing is really starting to irk me. I hit the 12 week mark this past tuesday. No card, no book, no letter, and no clue when it's going to come to fruition.

In the meantime, I can't find 8gb cards to buy and even renting can be tough. I don't want to buy a couple of 8's anyway, because the 16gb card is allegedly to be released any day now.

Try getting someone on the phone at the rebate center is like a trip to the dentist and I can't figure out exactly when the 16gb ship.

Sorry for the rant.

Thanks to barry for those great dvd's, the boot camp and my incessant questions.

Anyone know anything about where this rebate stands.. date of 16gb ship, availability?

Good luck on both.

Not the company's finest hour in my view.

16 GB are backordered, and HPX orders will be first served.

No ship date on BO or the next batch either.
