Hey All,
While I'm working on a documentary that will be using a HMC150, I've come across a lot of material on DLSR videography, and would like to give it a try. My initial thought was a t2i, but the overheating and time limits deterred me (I understand that both can be worked with). After some more research, I've chosen to nab a GH1 and hack it, and I'm now looking at lenses.
A few example scenarios I'd like to use the camera in...
In-home interview sessions
Video-bio and walkthrough sessions at local businesses
B&H has the body for $399, which I'm nabbing. What lenses would you suggest? I'd like to begin with a basic starter lens that would hold me over until my fiancee allows me to spend a little bit more, so perhaps in the $200-500 range (used is fine).
This thread has the suggestion of the M42/Helios 44 series, additional thoughts on those?
Thanks!
