Really quick skateboard edit

Hey guys. Here is a really short skateboarding edit I shot with my 150 last weekend. I don't even know if you'd call it an edit. All I did was slow the clips down with cinema tools, then threw them on an FCP timeline. No color correction or anything. I was feeling lazy.

But I just thought I'd share anyway.

Thanks!!

Wow that was pretty good color for no color correction. What scene file were you using and what did you set your white balance at?

good filming, but that guy needs some style haha.

Thanks man. Yeah I know, he really talked himself up prior to filming. He says his roommates are better, so I might give that another go.

Here is the scene file:
Detail level: -3
V Detail level: -1
Detail coring: +2
Chroma level: +2
Master ped: -30
A iris level: -2
Gamma: B press
Knee: High
Matrix: Cine-like

As far as white balance, I just used AWB. I held it long enough for it to do the black balance too. I'm fairly confused on what to do about that. I went to Ace hardware yesterday and picked up some blue and grey paint cards. So I'll probably experiment with that a little...

haha, hes not horrible, that 3 was pretty sick, but hes got horrible style ahah. what frame rate? 72060p? looked real nice, i liked it. as ive already said aha

The black balance will close the iris down completely to black so you need not to do anything but just hold the button in to do the black balance. Its not like you need to point the cam at a black object like manual WB.

Yeah that's what I figured once I saw the black screen.

But anyway, yeah, I shot this with 720/60p.

I'm going to be shooting some local pro skiers for the next three weeks! I'm hoping to make a good 2-3 minute edit in order to send out to some ski film producers and resorts. I can't wait.
