Okay I'm ready to buy, but I aint paying full price. (Forum members watch me negotiate. I'm rolling up my sleeves now and have a hint of a snarl on my face.) Hvx reatilers, here's the deal, I'll pay $5500 for an HVX plus a 4g P2 card and not a penny more . . . any takers? Come on, no more fooling around, I'm ready to buy, but I never pay full price. I'm not going to give you that starving artist bs, (actually I'm pretty well to do) . . . . I"m waiting . . . . Alright, you want me to "name drop", ok I'll name drop, Barry . . . Jarred . . . Pappaarts . . . Jan . . . . Scrappy . . . . Ok, I get it, you know the first rule of negotiating, "The first person who speaks loses" (Scrappy's mid-atlantic accent evolves into a Texas drawl) As my great old grand daddy says, "fifty five hundred bucks is my final offer partner, come on, there must be some good old Texas boys out there that wanna do business right by me . . .

Good luck.

The best I've seen is a couple of hundred dollars more.

When you have a popular item, the buyer doesn't hold those Texan hold em cards.

Ain't why go through the hassle. Spend the going price and make it back on your first job.

I paid $5900 with a 6gb P2 card... seriously, going with the lowest bidder is rarely a good idea... grey market goods and foreign units wont be covered under warranty. B&H is a great place and is $5499 right now... P2 cards are $575 to $600 if you can find them in stock. Why would ANY dealer who sells them all day long for $6000+ for your configuration sell for less when they cant keep them in stock?
