GH2 Ready external battery for GH2- lasting at last 6-7 hours of recording.

Hello. I am searching for some external battery, which could supply my GH2. Actually 1,5-2 hours of continuos recording is not enough for me ( and often I don't have time to change my batteries while doing shot cause my GH2 is rigged and it takes some time to take batery out ). I need something that could suply at least 7-8 hours of continuos recording. I assume that GH2 needs 7,2V voltage, am I right?

Edit:
Recently I found something, but there is nothing said about it's capacity:

Greetings

I use a V-Mount system that can power the camera and a monitor all day. I'm using a Lanparte battery plate and a DIY cable hacked from a cheap AC adapter with a custom voltage regulator. You would do fine with just the battery plate, a battery, and this cable from jag35: http://jag35.com/products/cables/gh2poweradapter.html.

A good battery system (V-Mount or Anton Bauer Gold Mount) is a very worthwhile investment that will stay with you for years. I use mine to power LED panels, the camera rig w/ monitors, wireless HDMI streamer, sound bag (in the rare event that our tekkeons die during a shoot), jib system, etc.

Whoa, didn't even know that Dolgin system existed. I have a buttload of the big Panasonic batteries...very nice.

I used the Tekkeon MP3450i R2 battery at NAB 2012 with my GH2. I was getting about 10 hours of run time on a single charge. It is a high-capacity lithium polymer battery, the best battery tech available. It allows a whole myriad of different voltage settings (via dip switches on the bottom). Just set it for 9V (the 8.4v setting gives a battery can't be used message after a couple of minutes) and you'll get a good 10+ hours of use. It comes with 5 tips, one which mates with the GH2 adapter perfectly.

And take a look here for an entire thread (236 posts) on Powering the GH2 with a variety of external power sources, some off the shelf, some DIY: GH2 Power - Specs, tests, DIY Post #201 in the thread has more info on the Tekkeon.

Cheers,
Robert
