I have a few questions about the EOSM. I film weddings so I was wondering....
1) How long does a single battery last when recording video?
2) Assuming we have Magic Lantern, do we get full exposure control and white balance control?
3) Is AGC disabled?
4) How is it for heat? Being a smaller body does it overheat more easily?

1. For stop and go video, realistically 30 minutes. The tiny body uses tiny batteries, so get more. 2. You do not need Magic lantern to have full exposure control or wb control - the EOS M out of the box can be fully manual in everything in video and audio. 3. You do not need Magic Lantern to disable AGC in audio. Out of the box you can select manual audio and you have 19 steps of manual control, meters, and you can even invoke a limiter or not (not the same as agc). 4. It does not overheat. There are no reports of overheating with this camera, although it does heat up. It is a magnesium body. You do not need Magic Lantern to shoot manual audio and video with the EOS M. ML *adds* functionality, like zebras and live histogram and focus peaking. It also gives RAW ability, but you are not going to shoot a wedding in RAW! ML was in fact more valuable to Canon cameras that had crippled audio and video. The EOS M is a fine video camera without ML.

Sorry, I meant that ML gives the EOS M that capability. This one is not out of the box (like focus peaking, zebras, etc. that ML adds). It was not clear from the question whether what was wanted was what ML adds to the EOS or what.
