RCA viewfinder... Would it be good for the 7D?

3.5 inch LCD-TFT Active Matrix Screen. 480 x 234 resolution picture.


I would say no. Save your money and get a Nice HD monitor. But that's just me.

Not sure if he still has them, But there was member here that was selling the liliput monitors for $200 bucks.
 
It's actually the 1 inch viewfinder:

1 inch Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Display.
Resolution 320 x 240 & Pixel Count: 76,800.
Continuous Battery Life Over 24 Hours.

I was thinking in more of terms of keeping the whole rig light and small without having the HD monitor weighing it down... I know some people have been modifying Sony viewfinders so that it can take a composite input... Just wondering how this viewfinder compares to that.
 
I don't really know. I would love to have a tiny HD LCD instead of the 8.9 inch Monitor that I have. I'm gonna look into that Sony mod.
