Raylight for Mac (FCP) problems going out to DVD recorder?

Alright gentlemen,
Trying to make a DVD copy of several hours of HVX200 footage. I'm using Raylight/FCP and things look great on the timeline. I'm going out firewire to a small DV camera, then taking a S-video and RCA audio from the small DV camera to a set-top DVD recorder.

Things look great on the timeline, and the audio is passing through just fine, but the video hangs (on the dv camera, and of course this is what is recorded on the DVD recorder). So, it's not working.

Has any got any suggestions? Anybody made DVD copies of HVX200 footage? If so, how did you do it successfully?!?

Thanks to all who comment!~
Travis

You are going DVCProHD to NTSC DV which immediately compressed 5:1 and loses 75% of the color information.

Then you are converting that to analog through the SVideo and further compressing that to mpeg2.

Yes, that will make the stuff look pretty bad.

Are you attempting to author a DVD or make a data DVD?

You are probably going to have to change your sequence settings from DVCPRO HD to DV NTSC and then render to down-convert to DV, then it will play fine. Right now it sounds like your trying to send HD footage to a DV camera, in my experience you will only get the first frame of video and the audio unless you do the HD to SD conversion.
