Raylight > Digibeta?

Hi!
Im going to use Premier Pro 2 with Raylight for my upcoming project, but i really dont understand the whole workflow form MXF files to DIgibeta. Im using the PAL version of the HVX(200E).

- This project is going to be shot in : 1080i/25p or 720p/25p ,i havent decided which one yet?
- THis will be editetd in Premiere PRO 2 using Raylight
- The end result have to be converted from PAL to NTSC (29,97) and end up on Digibeta format.

So my questions are:

1. In what format do i export the end result from Premier Pro 2 ? Avi, Qucktime? This file will then be sent to the "lab" for the Digibeta master. Is there a standard format to use?

2. Is it better to do the NTSC convertion by myself or is it better to let the "lab" do this?

This is my first time doing HD transfer for broadcast:)

I would suggest export from Premiere an uncompressed PAL AVI (720 x 576)
and then send it to DVFilm, we can make an NTSC digibeta from that.

If you want to do it yourself, convert it to NTSC with DVFilm Atlantis.
then use a blackmagic decklink card or similar to play it back through
SDI to the deck.
