Raylight and After Effects

No, only into Vegas & Premiere. But you can use Raylight to convert your MXF files into .AVI files which can be used in After Effects.

Be careful.
We always lost chroma going through Raylight to an .avi then to After Effects. It's been a while so I don't want to guess where we lost it, but do a couple test files before doing all of them.
I "think" it was compressing the color space in After Effects leaving the ends flatlined. We were able to adjust it back out though.
We've moved past that painful, space consuming process so I can't recall for sure without re-testing it.
Best of luck.

Quite the opposite is true, you will lose color on highlights with other methods. Here is an example

The fact that you could adjust Raylight means the color was always there, whereas in the example above, the other product is losing the color in the highlights-- permanently-- and thus it cannot be recovered.
