Hey,
Just wondering if anyone has an semi small footage files from their HVX that I would be able to download, or have sent through AIM or a file sharing site. I want to test out how my laptop does with HD footage, but I have none myself.

I edit with Vegas 8, and someone sent me a .mov file from their P2 Card but when I added it to Vegas, it showed up as like 8 audio tracks, and when I try to open the file by itself in Quicktime, it is all black while it plays through.

Anyone got any footage?

Thanks,
Steven

a mov file isnt the native capture format for p2. the native p2 format is MXF. if you use premiere pro to edit, then MXF files are accepted natively. if you are on pc i susggest using premiere pro cs2. p2 is natively MXF and recognized without any need to convert to mpeg, avi or mov.
