Starting to shoot more. But my adapter batteries were running low, and my shutter speed was 1000 from shooting without the adapter so I think the gg is visible in some darker shots. Shot out the window or in car driving from Philadelphia to NJ up I95. Then some random stuff indoors. Still looks sort of nice

nice stuff. how did you get such a smooth shot of that red car...it looks dollyed/stedicamed.
were you backing out and just held the camera steady?
 
Ha. My girlfriend backed out of the parking spot in a McDonald's parking lot and I noticed the shiny red car as we were leaving so I told her to pull back in and do it again slower. I got out my camera and just held it out the window as steady as I could.
 
nice...it looked extremely legit though. i would say it can be a relatively inexpensive dolly if you happen to have a car and a lot of space haha

Hey Steve,

Nice footage. Would you mind telling your CC secrets? Do you use bullet or just curves and balance?
 
Mack - I usually like to do the curves mainly when I mess around in Vegas. I think they work wonders if you play with them long enough. When I don't feel like doing that, I use MB filters that I made and saved that I know look good for certain kinds of footage. I also make stuff more contrasty since I think DVX footage is sort of hazy looking straight from the (my...) camera.
