It would be awesome if Arri or other companies made Digital backs for their 35mm cams, similar to how Hasselblad makes the 22Mega pixel backs for thier high end still cameras.

the best shot is the greenscreen with the weatherman in front and then all his weatherman buddies are sitting around watching him work the latest weatherman techniques. After they went to a dance club and danced the 'weatherman' and all the girls went crazy.

Love the pics. I went to NAB a couple of years ago and had a blast. It was great fun getting to meet the people you "hang out with" on the web. I see NAB still recognizes the importance of having cute girl product demonstrators

Okay, so this was all really weird: I went back to the Arri booth, and that camera wasn't up anymore, but the rest of the booth was the same. I asked 3 different sales reps about it, and they all tried to tell me that I must have been thinking of some other camera, or seen it somewhere else because they had nothing that matched what I was describing.

Unfortunately, I didn't have the photo with me. I'm going to get in contact with someone at Arri and show them the picture. It's like the Loch Ness of the Arri booth, all I've got is a blurry photo and my own account of the events. I'm kicking myself now for not wondering what it was at the time; I guess I got distracted by all the pretty Fresnels.

Okay, I'm a moron, I just figured it out. :smiley_up

In that picture, the mag is missing, and the black protrusion is simply part of the camera body that extends on the right side of the camera.

Duh.
