Resident Agitator
I just took a bunch of shots so you guys who have never been can see what it's like. It's really quite amazing, I got to fly a couple of cranes, and play with a lot of really cool toys.

Flashes were frowned upon, so I appologize for the blurriness.

Awesome. Thanks for the pics TC!

Helps those of us who couldn't make it feel better.
Good! Hope this makes up for the big tease this morning.

It's a Chapman, though I don't remember which one. The thing was BEAUTIFUL! It can be fully submersed in water.

They let me control it, I'd never done that before. It was one of the best parts of the day.

TC, who makes that tripod/dolly track system? Picture 14 in the first post?
It's made by a company called Panther Dollies and Cranes.

This is the last of 'em, I'll post pics from the party tonight.

Wow, thanks for the pics TC! Makes us all a little more jealous :)

That Arri booth (if I can even call it that) looks monsterous!

Keep us updated, and this definately makes up for the RED delay.

Yeah, the Arri booth was jaw dropping. Their cameras are so sexy, and don't get me started on the lights.

Who makes what light ring you had in one of the first batches of pictures. I've been looking to try out some light rings but I havent been able to find out where to rent them.

Awesome pics!

If you're talking about the first one in the second batch, that was in the Kino Flo booth.

Thanks,

Another question, what does that Arri have hooked to it in one of the fist pics, is it just a video out, becuase theres no film mag on it, it looks like it could be some kind of digital back or something

I think its pic #025.jpg

That's a good question, it looks like one cord is going to the follow focus, and the video tap is coming from a different part of the cam.

There's a third cord... it looks like maybe an XLR or another video cable. I'll check it out tomorrow.

The RED stuff is in the RED thread.

I figured most people wanted to see that specifically, so I gave it it's own thread.
