yea, looks like shot with dslr and very cheap lighting kit, light is there just to put checkmark under lights on production sheet, they arent creating any mood at all, whoever made that decision to cut budget on DP was idiot cause this film is now forever.

I'm certain it wasn't DSLR, in fact it looks like RED, but framing and lighting are poor IMHO.

It was a simple idea, but I thought the point came across pretty well as a comparrison between the looks of the old and new Trek.

I think they used a low budget for this one and it shows. It got the point across, but I felt the directing and shooting were poorly executed for a major entity like Audi. And to so blatantly show the Mercedes logo? I didn't expect that at all...

That was good stuff. Lighting and camera work looked fine to me. They could have shot it on a Fisher Price PXL-2000 for all I care. Nimoy sings "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" again, and he still remembers how to place a perfectly timed Vulcan neck pinch to win a bet. That's what's really important.

It's both a promo and a comedy bit, which is the way it should be IMHO. If you're going to make a corporate promo, might as well make it entertaining.
