Quicktime Problem: Watching footage from Firestore

yeah. you need an app that is dvcrpoHD friendly. raylight, final cut pro, or any of the packages from imagine products... you cant just view clips from the hvx in quicktime...

Cool. That would explain why it worked perfect on my machine but not my bosses. I will have to install one of these programs on his computer.

Is there a cheaper way?

Perhaps you are right about the ownership. But it must be removed from all other machines before it is installed.

FCP 5.x permits one install. You need to remove the other.

Licensing agreement reads:

"This License allows you to install and use one copy of the Apple Software on a single computer at a time. . . . This License does not allow the Apple Software to exist on more than one
computer at a time, and you may not make the Apple Software available over a network where it could be used by multiple computers at the
same time. "

Thanks for the info.

I do want to go on the record to say that there should be an easier way to watch the footage. BLAH...
