quicktime files from Fs-100 to Avid on Mac

Hi
I''ve been looking for some kind of solution regarding the lack of TC options of HVX and Final cut.
for this purpose;

I was wondering if I could import QT files(DVCPro HD) from FireStore to Avid in order to change the meta-data and import again in Final Cut.
this whole process will be on Mac.

Will avid on mac accept OT files with the metadata from FireStore?
any ideas?

Ps: i know that P2 files could be edited natively on both Avid and Final Cut however the workflow that I need is for the QT files..
