Quick question regarding the DVX100B battery's

Hello, just had a preatty rudimentary question. I just brought a DVX100B today finally, my question is how I should treat the battery. Should I drain the battery by running it on the camera and then charge it, or does it not matter. Just want to get the longest life from my battery.

Back in the days of Ni-Cad batteries, this was an issue. As Sacksnack said, Lithiom Ion batteries don't suffer from this.
 
Great, glad to here i don't have to worry about draining the battery, i'll just charge it right away then. Thanks for the feedback.
