Quick question, First one to answer correctly gets a $5 footlong subway

OK, just kidding about the subway thing.
My camera (FS700) and 7Q are at work so I'll just ask here. Can you delete individual clips on the 7Q? I only have 2ea 256 ssd's but if I shoot a bunch of clips and didn't like the last take, can I delete just that one clip to save space?

I thought you were gonna say that. I would have thought that would be easily do-able coding wise though??? You can list your clips, play your clips, scrub your clips, Just can't delete your clip...hmmm

They don't let you delete clips for performance reasons although I don't understand their reasoning for the last clip.

I know Mitch has said that you can't delete clips because it causes fragmentation on the drive, which will then effect the read/write speeds and could cause issues as the drives fill up.

As for a "delete last clip" function... That would be pretty handy. Not sure if that would cause the same fragmentation issues or not.
