Hey guys,
My name is Lenny Emery, and I'm a film student in NYC now. I love shooting extreme sports of any kind, from paintball to skate films, and recently picked up my DVX over the XL2 and FX1. I love the camera, but am wondering how it is possible to shoot in true 16:9 like some of the new cameras do?
Since I don't see the option, and was curious about it.
Just on a side note, I work for an extreme sports company in San Diego called Derder (www.derder.com) and am getting an internship at Steiner Studios, where they film tons of music videos, movies, and such. I making lots of trips to Dunkin' Donuts from what I'm told.
My latest trailer from a paintball tournament I covered is right here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOJmf_cTujY
YouTube murders quality, but hopefully soon I'll get a better version up on my site.
Thanks guys, really glad to be here.
