quick question about adapters

ok so im getting closer to my final decions about which lenses to buy but need some advice from the experts. ok so obvious the majority of the lenses that im thinking about getting are not micro 4/3 mount so i will be getting an adapter. the question is which adapters are going to be the most user friendly- should i got canon mount or nikion- i heard that there are different flange? lengths- the distances from the sensor to the glass from nikon and cannon- so which is the easiest to adapt to micro 4/3 ,cannon or nikon. since i have neither as a dslr and am starting from scratch it dosnet matter. what about adapter that have aperture built into them to work around lenses that dont have dedicated rings/ are newer. should i just get a cold adapter or one that it integrated, i heard that there isnt even a cannon one yet and you have to set it on a cannon body then move it over.

if that is the case i also heard that when attached it will automatically go to the most wide open? is that correct? then could i just compensate with the nd and other adjustments?

If you are starting from scratch I would go with Nikons. Quality is great, the results are excellent. Plus you can change iris setting very easily with aperture rings on the lens, or if a G or DX series, with the thumbscrew on the Adaptimax Plus. Not quite as simple with Canon EF mount as there's no way to easily change the iris setting without popping the lens onto a EOS and adjusting it. Simple to do and only takes a few seconds. Just an irritant.

We are offering a 10% discount to DVX Users until the end of the month on all Adaptimax adapters. Use the code "10percentdvx".

Cheers

I'm using the NOVOFLEX adapter for my Nikons.

It's very solid, works perfectly -- no problems whatsoever -- and it won't break the bank.

+1 Love the Nikons on the AF100. Best bang for your buck when it comes to good glass.
