Remote follow focus for £150/$300

Strange you should mention that. Im talking to the machining people about putting a lanyard loop on it. Jst a quick question though,

whats better, lanyard on the top or bottom/ I think the lanyard would get in the way if it was on the top...

He Peter,

Parallel thinking :) On the bottom would be the best.

Cheers

Belt clip is sorted, very nice it is too, very strong and sturdy.

Just got the lanyard loop and the 1/4-20 mounting thread for the receiver to sort out now.

Heres a phone photo. Please excuse the wonky fixing, it will be dead straight ont he production one obviously.

I fly a steadicam flyer in Las Vegas, and am very excited for this to become available.

Put me down on your pre-order list, and if you need a beta tester for extreme heat and desert, I would love to help out!

Thanks for the updates and pictures!

If im going to be there at all, I will be part of another company, yet to be confirmed. Its on the cards though...

Hi Shawn,

Ivev stuck you down.

Where do you live, i need someone with a Red that I can test the setup out on....

Quick update:

the 1/4-20 thread in the receiver is sorted out, it will be in the centre of the back. I will be offering a range of mounting options such as shoe mount, rail mount, or you can screw it onto a noga or a zacuto arm. Failing that, I have selected a powder coat finish that is particularly compatible with most types of tape (hehe)

This time tomorrow should have the lanyard loop fixed, im going to see a fixings company in slough who apparently have what im after. Also the Hocus Focus will come with a printed Hocus Focus lanyard.

Dr Mike my new electronics genius is beavering away on the new code, and we will have the working prototypes within two weeks.

Getting very close now, id like to start shipping before christmas. Who wants a Hofo for xmas?!?

Hi Charles,

Options are either american or rest of the world version (differnt frequency for america, no price differnce).

Thats it as far as options are concerned, everything else is included.

I do have a price in mind, but until I get all my quotes back im not going to say anything (yet)

Just done the lanyard mount which is very neat and strong, and the last thing that needs to be done to the transmitter....

The Hocus Focus has been wireless for quite afew pages of this thread now....

900mhz for america, 433 for th rest of the world.
