This is my first music video with the 7D, we shot it in a couple of hours. Zero grading, just a quick edit, all shot with canon 50mm 1.8:

Cool vid man. Music reminds me of a mix between coldplay and radiohead.

your lighting feels very movie like to me for some reason, not as much for a music video though. Some of your framing is strange, everyone has more or less the same frame space, same angles and same shot. You could have grabbed one of the drummer and the instrumentalists where we see more of them with their instrument instead of just head and shoulders.

Hey thanks very much for the feedback, glad you liked it! Ill pass on the musical compariosn to the band, Im sure they'll dig that!

This was intentional, although due to the time running out the idea didn't really come off! Originally I wanted to place the camera from 8 fixed positions in a circle around each of the band members, with the exact same distance from the center of the circle to the camera positions. The idea was that the cutting would spin around the band in a kind of stop-frame bullet time thing. However, we soon realised that the song was too long to play that many times over as we had very limited time to shoot in the end! So I got 3 angles on each going in a 180 view, but it doesn't really look like anything other than coverage really, so I grabbed the hand-held cutaways too.
