Questions about timecode sync and multi camera.

Hello All,

I am doing a multi AF-100, with Sound Dives for audio and Ipad with movie slate. So far the only way I have figured out how to make this work is to put all of them into free run and sync at the start of the shoot using one of the AF-100 as a the master. Is there some other way that I should be doing this? Or a better way?

I did a series of shoots recently with 2 3700's and an AF thrown into the mix as a C cam in some instances. I jammed the AF to the 3700's by taking time code out of the 3700 and into the AF via the RCA video out port on the AF after making the appropriate menu selection in the TC menu of the AF " EX TC link" . THis procedure produced the desired result, you need to have a BNC to RCA male adapter on hand to connect the BNC from the 3700 in this case to the AF 100
