i tried down loading contents of p2 card from my HVX directly to my PC's hard drive via usb.

everything seemed to copy ok, but my computer is unable to open the clips to play


do i need special software to review the files?
 
thanks,,,but are you telling that I need a P2 viewer on my computer in order to open these files?


This is very confusing. You sent me to a page with a 50 links and downloads....doesnt really help me out, but thanks, I guess

Yes you need P2CMOS to view the files.

The page is easy to navigate. Just find the drivers for PC. (won't work without them) as well as the actual program for PC. It is right there and takes minutes to install. You will figure it out. and your welcome, I guess.:beer:

I installed p2 viewer and p2 driver. when I attempt to launch p2 viewer a message pops up stating I do not sufficient "Audio Hardware" to launch the program.


I use windows vista, home premium.

do I need to install something else?

Also when installing the viewer....a huge list of "checkable" options pops up ( you know the list).... do i need to check off any of these or do i just leave them all unchecked

thanks....sorry i was a bit pissy earlier...im frustrated

Yes you do. If I remember correctly. I just can't remember what the boxes were. It's been a while since I installed it.

No worries. That site had me pissed off too.
