i wonder if anyone can help me
i want to know how to post a film clip using yousendit
i have i movie, a dvx and a 2 minute clip that i want to post on yousendit

sorry to sound like a dumbass but how do i do it ?
 
Type in the e-mail address of the person you want to send the clip to.

Browse to find the clip on your hard drive.

Click the "Send It" button

The file will be uploaded to the YouSendIt server then your friend will get an e-mail with a download link.



...or are you needing help exporting the edited movie to a file that you can send?
 
yeah sorry should have been clearer
i capture the clip to imovie and it saves in my documents as an imovie project, how do i turn it into a file anyone can open after clicking on yousendit link ?
thats the prob im having
 
add it to the timeline.
File -> Share as a email or go to QuickTime and select web.
Once it's save upload it to the server.

next question, can i change the compression to be better than cd rom (20mb) but not as huge as full quality clip (518mb)
anyway to go inbetween in quick time ?
 
File -> Share -> QT -> Expert Settings -> Ok -> Movie to QuickTime Movie -> Options button
Set video codec, quality, size and audio compression as you like .
