C100: Question about STM lenses and AutoFocus

So I was browsing a few videos and forums and discovered a few comments that stated that even without the dual pixel AF upgrade, if you put an STM lens you'd be able to choose "Continuous AF". Apparently this was included in the last firmware update, but some people say that it's only the 18-55mm and 18-135mm (same with auto iris)

Specifically in this video it's mentioned at the 0:50 mark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xtOLr39GK0

Why am I asking? Because if this is the case, I would love to get this lens to use on my Glidecam HD-2000! Sounds like a killer combo especially with the AF for a glidecam setup. I'm surprised I can't find anyone else using it - it's 35mm equivalent, f/2.8, pretty good macro, and it's only $150!

If anyone has any experience with this lens or other STM lenses on the C100, please share!

Without the Dual Pixel upgrade, the C100 does have the capability for push button AF - which hunts around a bit until it finds focus - so I'm assuming with this firmware update and a couple STM lenses you don't have to push anything, and that it automatically hunts for focus. The problem is, I don't think it would be nearly as fast or reliable as the Dual Pixel AF (which, on a glidecam, still hunts for focus when its thrown for a loop). Maybe someone here can try it out though.
