Question about Pictures Style appearance on LCD vs Computer Monitor

Hey a simple question: My picture styles when viewed on the LCD of my camera look 10x better (usually more realistic, contrasty, all around very balanced) than when I upload the picture or video to my computer, where it looks 10x flatter and plain bad. Does the LCD display what an image will look like with a LUT applied (for example, I primarily use CineStyle), or is my computer monitor displaying my images much flatter than they naturally are?

I'd imagine it is because the pixels are smaller and have a higher density on your camera. The contrast is probably higher too.

the LCD in the camera, apart from being much smaller (which makes you think the image has less issues, as you can't see them), is perfectly color calibrated - maybe your PC monitor is not? (if you don't know the answer to that question, it is probably "indeed"; only in that case, this may be helpful: http://www.similaar.com/foto/calibra/calibra.html )
