J Jim Duggins Active member Mar 31, 2007 #2 I don't know about Power 2000 batteries, but I have the Impact BP-970 and it works great. Some non-Canon batteries get stuck in the A1, but not the Impact. I didn't bother with an extended warranty but I rarely if ever buy them for anything.
